National Truck Protection Co. (NTP) announced Monday a unique management system to make selling and processing its equipment protection plans more efficient for commercial truck dealer partners across the U.S. and Canada.
The innovative technology capability has been developed and customized for NTP Co. by Arcadium Technologies, a leading provider of user-friendly customer retention tools and processes to commercial truck and trailer dealers.
NTP Co. says the new integration will be available to all NTP and Premium 2000 dealer partners who subscribe to the Arcadium software solution.
“We have been working with the Arcadium technology team for over six months to fine-tune a system integration to increase the speed, accuracy, and overall efficiency of selling our equipment protection service plans,” says Geoff Stigler, chief commercial officer at NTP Co. “This new platform answers requests we’ve received from many of our dealer partners to streamline quoting, selling, and submitting new service contracts for their truck buying customers. The customized platform Arcadium developed allows a service contract to be added, priced, and purchased in minutes, without leaving the Arcadium system where truck deals are assembled.”
“We built our company 20+ years ago with a strategic focus on the trucking industry. That keen focus allows our technical and senior software specialists to apply what we’ve learned and experienced to optimize key profit-generating processes like customer acquisition, retention and sales effectiveness for a heavy-duty truck, trailer, or equipment dealership,” adds Tony Dunseith, sales manager and director of installations at Arcadium. “We enjoy working with leading trucking industry companies like NTP who are always searching for innovative solutions that help our dealer partners achieve higher profitability. With this technology enhancement they’re becoming more efficient in selling.”
NTP Co. says its NTP and Premium 2000 sales teams are excited at how easy it will be to activate this technology for their thousands of dealer partners. NTP already has several dealers who enabled the new integration and many who will be enabled in the next month.
“NTP turned 40 years old last year and has the two leading brands in the industry. This process integration with Arcadium is another example of our team leading the way to help dealers increase productivity and profitability by adding our equipment protection plan to the truck sale,” says Stigler.
